Are you looking for books that your kids will love? There is a new website that is "dedicated to making kids readers for life". It has book lists for various ages, and if you click on a book cover, you will get a review and also a "If you loved this book, try this..." listing of other titles.

Grow with Stories

Visit the "Grow with Stories" website to check out the information on reading to your child, including "Staff Picks" book lists and craft ideas. We have some of the Grow Charts at the library, so drop in and pick one up!

Baby Rhyme Time AND Preschool Story Time!

We started our new program, Baby Rhyme Time, (see post below) on April 15, and we're excited to tell you that we will also have a Story Time for the bigger kids (over 18 months) running at the same time. Many thanks to some moms who are willing to run the preschool program so that all ages can come at the same time!

How to Use OverDrive With Your iPhone or iPad

Baby Rhyme Time

Starting: Friday, April 15 @ 11:00 a.m.

Babies and their caregivers are invited to gather at the library to explore language and books in a fun setting. This program is for ages from birth to 18 months.

We will participate in activities that support language acquisition and bonding between adult and child. This weekly program includes bounce, tickle, finger rhymes, nursery rhymes, and a time for book-sharing between adult and child with our collection of baby board books.

We hope that you will join us, and please pass the word!

Easter Raffle - Kobo eReader!

We are raffling a Kobo eReader, including a case, for Easter!

Second prize will be a $25.00 gift card for Chapters Indigo (can now be used for ebooks as well), and the third prize will be a potted plant from Midway Flowers.
